I've been writing and editing professionally since 1998, having worked for such meatspace magazines as Science Fiction Age, Realms of Fantasy, Wild Rampage Wrestling, Military Heritage, Country's Best Log Homes, Sci-Fi Universe, Sci-Fi Entertainment, SCI FI Magazine, Satellite Orbit, Satellite Direct, AlbemarleFamily, Charlottesville Welcome Book, and Locally Charlottesville. Online, I've worked for SCI FI Wire, Science Fiction Weekly, Fidgit, Dvice, and Blastr.
I've copyedited a legion of books, manuals, and standards for The American Society of Civil Engineers and am currently working in the Marketing and Communications Department at the University of Virginia as the lead editor for the School of Medicine. My short story, "All For a Pint," can be found in the Dragonlance anthology The Search for Magic: Tales from the War of Souls.
I've been working (off and on, sometimes more off than on) on Galway '96, a screenplay about my semester abroad in Ireland, during the Fall of 1996. In the back of my mind I have one comic and (at least) two short stories percolating; one titled "Nothing Is Ever Truly Lost," the other "When the End Comes, Will You Please Hold My Hand?".
